The article ‘ Real-time
Running Detection From a Moving Camera’ said that in the late 2016, there are
various methods have been used to trace moving target system from a moving
camera. It is difficult to distinguish the motion when the environment are
mixed of action between the target objects and the background motions under
dynamic background. However, in order to
achieve satisfying accuracy with few false positives in complex outdoor
environment, the usage of something that able to measure the accuracy of object
effectively or accurately the motion in high efficiency that is Pyroelectric
Infrared Sensor (PIR sensor) [1].
In this
project, PIR sensor is being used to detect the
movement of living creature or the object that emit heat and also
infrared (IR) rays. PIR sensor is an electronic sensor that able to measures
infrared light radiating from object in the certain radius, while cost and low
power consumption make it attractive for security applications. Usually, this
sensor used for burglar alarm,automatic door switch and automatically activated
lighting system. PIR sensor also sometimes called simply “PID” for passive
infrared detector. The infrared rays cannot be seen with human eyes because it
is under low frequency. This light are detected by using Frensel Lenses that is
sort of a crystalline matter which turns into electrically charge surface when
it meets the IR rays.
In addition,
PIR sensor is a main devices that used for this project.It has a lot of
advantages compare to other sensor. For smart motion camera, basically this
camera is used to record human motion so by using this sensor it will respond
to the motion and also adjustable to body temperature. It is also can detect
human motion although during night time so it is suitable to use during anytime
or in any condition.
